It’s ‘Girl Power’ in Year 6 this week! Our yellow T-shirt winners, in school, go to Kiah and Layla for working hard to get smart! They’ve had a great week, impressing myself, Miss Blackham and Mrs Haycock with their attitude to learning!
Lacey was our ‘online’ winner as she always has a great attitude to learning! She always wants to get smart, asking questions when she is unsure and she regularly goes beyond her ME!
Well done girls!

Today in Expedition we were historians! We started by drawing our interpretation of what a historian would look like. We then began to unpick what exactly it means to be a historian.
We then moved onto continuity and change and how we all experience it in our lives. We then evidenced this by creating a time line of our life events!
I am so proud of you all!

Please check out our ‘beautiful work’ page on our phase Expedition website to see some amazing work produced by our 5/6 children during this Expedition. Today, we have added a range of presentations which the children have been working on as a result of our first case study coming to an end. The children have worked so hard during the current situation to continue to produce high quality work. As a summary, they have worked collaboratively to document what they have researched in regards to their chosen mining village in Doncaster. I am so impressed with the outcome! I will be adding more presentations to our site over the next few days so please keep coming back to check what we have been getting up to!
