Graduation Night

On Wednesday lots of our children celebrated their Children’s University Graduation at Doncaster College. The graduates enjoyed lots of fun and treats before donning their caps and gowns and receiving their certificates.

The children behaved in true Plover style and made us all so proud. Thank you to our parent ambassadors for your continued support.

Yesterday’s Transition Fun in 1M

We went on a shape hunt! Then we made different shapes and pictures with outdoor, natural resources. After, we worked as crews to complete some Commando Joe challenges. See you next year crew! #LovePlover

EYFS sports day

Next Tuesday is EYFS sports day. It will be held on the school field, weather permitting, starting at 9 am. Parents and carers are welcome to attend. Children will be sitting on the grass and adults on the playground. Please do not go across the track. We need to know where children are at all times. Once the sports day has started the gates will be locked until the children have finished.

Afternoon nursery children are welcome to attend with their adults.

Graduation Day

The Children’s University graduation is tomorrow 5-7pm. There’s ample parking (costs 80p on the Ringo app or by phone). Children do not need to wear uniform but may.

For children or adults who like to know what will happen, here’s a breakdown:

Arrive at the main college entrance and sign in with your invitations.
Spend a short time downstairs in the lobby, free activities available.
As a group we will go upstairs (lifts are available on request).
Children go with Mrs Shuka, adults go to be seated.
Graduation ceremony
There will be an opportunity for group photos. Please let me know if you do not want your child in these pictures.
Children return to parents and have the opportunity for individual photos.
Return caps and gowns.

New 1M – Crew Building

Today we spent time in Crew reading and acting out cool rhymes! Then we worked on teamwork to complete some Commando Joe activities. After we painted, drew and crafted different shapes from our text ‘The Perfect Fit’. Finally we ended with understanding each others differences and who we live with at home. #LovePlover

Celebration Of Learning

The children really impressed me with their outstanding behaviour and engagement throughout our celebration. A special thank you to everyone who brought their vehicle for our children to enjoy.
