Can you help?

We all know how important reading is as a life skill and we really want to encourage our children to love reading. We are wanting to increase the opportunities that our children have to be able to read in school BUT we need your help!

Can you spare 30 minutes in a morning to come and volunteer to hear children read? This doesn’t have to be everyday and we can fit around you. This is purely to listen to the children read and to give them that confidence boost with their reading skills.

If you would like to help, please speak to any of the Key Stage 1 class teacher’s to register your interest and tell us when you might be able to help.

Thank you so much!

A heartfelt thank you!

I am blown away by your generosity! It’s been a pleasure getting to teach your wonderful children and share a part of your lives. Teaching is a demanding role but all the love, growth and gratitude makes it one of the best jobs in the world 🌎 You are an awesome community! Thank you for your kind words, hugs and gifts xxx

Thank You 1M

1M children you have been magnificent this year! Each and everyone of you has blossomed and shown great progress in one way or another.

I will miss you all very much; your cheeky smiles, your helpfulness and kindness, your funny personalities and your beautiful handwriting/ work you’ve produced this year!

Thank you grown ups too for your support and generosity all year.

Have a lovely, relaxing, enjoyable but safe summer!

You’re the best 1M!

KS1 Final Product

As part of the expedition, ‘Where will your journey take you?’, the children have produced artwork that has been printed onto our very own tote bags.

These will be available to purchase on the playground tomorrow and Friday for Ā£5.

There is a different design for Year 1 and Year 2.

KS1 children across the trust also produced a beautiful recipe book. This will also be available to purchase for Ā£5.

Graduation Night

On Wednesday lots of our children celebrated their Children’s University Graduation at Doncaster College. The graduates enjoyed lots of fun and treats before donning their caps and gowns and receiving their certificates.

The children behaved in true Plover style and made us all so proud. Thank you to our parent ambassadors for your continued support.

Well done Graduates of 2023!
