Well done to all EYFS for all their hard work in preparing for and performing this year’s nativity. All the children took part whether it was singing, saying the rhymes or dressing up. Here are some of the photos from our practice. We hope to have the video to share with you next week.
Our Year 5/6’s have been working extremely hard to produce a product on their latest Expedition- WWII: What is Doncaster’s story?
The children have engaged in standards based learning all linked to WWII and Doncaster! The children have produced a range of stunning postcards which have been put together by a professional graphic designer to sell to the public. Please watch our video and postcards are available to purchase from the office for £5 per pack. Monies raised will be put back into phase funds to support future Expeditions and trips!
We have started sending cards to people in the community who have helped us. We sent one to Andy the bus driver today. He was very happy to receive his card and said he had enjoyed his time in school talking to the children.
Thank you Andy for helping us.

Well done to Rajitha for having a fabulous attitude to learning. He has made great progress in reading, and although English work doesn’t come easy to him, he is working hard and getting smart. He is a fabulous role model to our Crew!
Rajitha, we are proud of you!
!
Our Year 6 Crew have been poets today! After writing all about the polish aircraft that crash landed over Hatfield Moors in the style of a newspaper report, the children were challenged to describe the tradgey in a poem, using precise word choices to create impact.
A shout out goes to Mia and also Shang for using alliteration and personification in their writing.
Luke also gets a shout out for writing his poem in first person, as if he is the ghost telling the story.
Keep up the good work, Crew Chapman.
