3G Plover Praise

Today we welcomed a new pupil into 3G and the class overwhelmingly wanted to give her the Plover Praise postcard, as she has had such a brilliant start to her time at Plover. She has contributed to all lesson and shown great perseverance in her learning.

A warm welcome to Eden and and very well done, you have had a brilliant start.

Working Hard

What a wonderful start to the half term. Jerzie has worked her socks off today. I’m so impressed with her positivity and perseverance. I wonder if we can all work as hard as Jerzie?

What does a chapati moon look like?

The children worked together today to look at one of the pictures in Chapati Moon . They thought about what it looked like and described the moon. These are the ideas that they had.

We will use these ideas as we read and write sentences this week.

Plover Praise Postcard

What an amazing first day back after half term. The children have been so enthusiastic in their learning and have been very kind to each other too.

Shout outs go to Pheobe and Riley for working hard in maths and challenging themselves.

Corben has been very kind to his friends and has used excellent manners.

Well done to the three of you. We are very proud of you.

Young voices!

Just a reminder to be involved in young voices you must bring your slips back ready to start the club next week- Tuesday 9th November. Young voices is a fantastic opportunity to sing with thousands of other children at Sheffield and we really want as many of you as possible to take part. This will be open for Years 4, 5 & 6 children. Any questions please see Miss Hickey or Mrs Blackham.

We are historians

In groups, we each researched a different positive and negative consequence of the space race and then we fed back to each other what we had just read, in order to discuss the question: Was the space race good for the human race? Most of the children agreed it was not due to to the pollution it caused. What caring souls we are in 6C.
