Chippy dinner treat for 6B- for winning the attendance award!

Well done 6B for winning the attendance money again and saving up for your chip shop dinner treat! I am so impressed with how many times you have had 100% attendance this year. You really do make me so proud! Well done to the other classes in 5/6 as I know you are also starting to save up your money and I know treats will be coming your way soon!

Wonderful World Book Day

It has been a week since World Book Day, and I thought it would be lovely to look back and remember what a great day it was.

The website has been updated with photographs, so head over there if you want to linger over the pictures a little longer.

But for a whistle-stop tour of the day, check out our video…..

Marvellous maths!

6B had such fun in maths this morning. They had to solve lots of problems before creating their aeroplanes and seeing how far they would fly. We then had to measure how far they travelled. The children are so excited to input their data and create a bar chart tomorrow! Well done 6B!

Back together again!

What a fabulous day we had yesterday! It was so nice to have 6B all back together again, I had certainly missed them all and I know they had missed each other. Yesterday was all about crew and making our crew even stronger than before. The children really enjoyed our secret project which we will be sharing with you all on our 5/6 class blogs later this week.

We also really enjoyed reflecting on our time in lockdown. We decided to create a time capsule of our memories in lockdown for future generations to discover. 6B were also eager to include pictures of current technology in their reflections as they were confident that technology would have evolved so much in the future that it is possible when our time capsule is dug up, that the founders will not know what apple watches and PlayStations are!
