Good afternoon,
Friday (4th February) is the national NCPCC Number Day. We would like all children to come to school dressed up as a number. Please find below some great ideas for dressing up. We can’t wait to see all of you!
Our new Ambassadors had an exciting morning visiting XP East, where they had a tour of the school from their experienced school ambassadors. Our pupils really enjoyed the visit, the XP pupils were amazing and taught us how to make a tour interesting and fun. We can’t wait to start to show visitors around our school. Obviously, our first visitors will be XP East as we want them to critique our skills!

Y3 & Y4 children, have thoroughly enjoyed playing playground games at dinner time over the last two days with Mr Meade and Miss Belk.
Next week a group of Y4 children will be given roles as playground leaders to lead and organise fun, fair games for children of Y3/4 to take part in!
The application process starts tomorrow…

I could not be prouder of this group of children. They all had a superb first week back and went home with praise postcards to celebrate this! Well done each of you.

I hope you agree that our corridor immersion is fabulous. Thank you to every one who has helped to create this, especially Mrs T and Mrs Keir – the children have really appreciated your amazing talents!

Year 4 had a very exciting morning discovering our new guiding question for our new expedition. We looked at compass points to find different bags, each containing a word from our guiding question. We then organised the words to uncover our guiding question: Why should we protect our beautiful planet? It was so lovely to see the children so excited again after Christmas.

The cards will be distributed to the Alzheimer’s Society (Doncaster), Age UK (Doncaster), DonMentia (local dementia charity), b:friend and our clients who live in their own homes.

My sides are aching from giggling so much. It’s fair to say that everyone loves Lemi the lemur! Thank you to Mrs Coward for organising and to the children for being amazing!
