This Christmas we will be raffling off coloured Christmas hampers which would make the perfect Christmas gifts. Each class has been challenged with a colour and the idea is each child will contribute something in that colour to add to the hamper. The class with the most contributions will win a prize. Please see above for your child’s class colour and examples of hamper contribution ideas.

Exciting news! The book fair will return to Plover, next Thursday 24th November until Wednesday 1st December. The book fair will be located in the main entrance to the school between these dates each day between 3pm and 3.30pm, and entry will be through the main entrance. The book fair will visit us from ‘Travelling Books’, who are part of the Scholastic group.
There will be a range of wonderful books to choose from, as well as lots of the ever popular stationery items!

Just a reminder to be involved in young voices you must bring your slips back ready to start the club next week- Tuesday 9th November. Young voices is a fantastic opportunity to sing with thousands of other children at Sheffield and we really want as many of you as possible to take part. We have had a great halloween party tonight in LKS2. Everyone put so much effort into their costumes and make-up – you could be professional MUAs some of you!!!
We played some games and ate some party food and overall had a good laugh!
Thank you to parents and carers for bring your children back into school and thanks to the LKS2 for turning the party round so quickly at the end of the day, and clearing up afterwards!
We are now looking forward to our half term break, but what a great way to get ready for it!

Well done to Lilly-Grace who won 1st place and has won two cinema tickets. Charlie won second place but Ethan (his brother ) is pictured. Charlie won a box of Dunkin donuts and Alec won a popcorn and chocolate sweet box! We hope you enjoy your prizes and we hope you enjoyed the yummy American dinner!

Plover invite you all to our year group spooky Halloween discos on Thursday 14th October. Children can come dressed up in costumes and they will be given Halloween sweet treats and party food fora a £2 entry fee.
