Year One have started their outdoor learning sessions today and even the sunshine came out to play!

Our scary superstars immersed themselves into the monster mash up, played zombie land tag, musical ghosts, as well as making chocolate sprinkled apples!
The children also enjoyed the delicious party food, pizza, crisps, buns and treats – yum!

A huge shout out to Demi and Atlas who produced some fantastic writing in their final write about Rosa Parks?
Mrs Ogle was blown away by the neatness and use of grammar in their writing! They were awarded with stickers, treats and Plover Praise Postcards!

Today in year 1, we have started Case study 2, art expedition. We have started with exploring primary colours (red, yellow and blue) and used watercolours to create our very own primary colour wheel. Well done year 1ās-super work! #LOVEPLOVER
Congratulations to Marnie and Casey who were superstars today and challenged themselves with green standard work in Maths and expedition. #LovePlover
All children learnt and knew their primary colours today. We had fun painting and being artists. We look forward to the artwork they will produce for their final product!
Aland went the extra mile and painted a real life hero – a firefighter who we had as a special visitor today in English!

Shout out to all Year 5 and 6 and Year 1 who took part in Fridayās after school clubā¦ it was fun, full on and challenging – but all children worked collaboratively, hard and showed great perseverance!
