Crew Meade loved their McDonalds and ice lolly treats this afternoon after winning £50 over the year for their attendance crew cash! #LovePlover

We are beginning to think ahead to next year and our Autumn Expedition in LKS2.

Year 1 sports day practice
Well done year 1 for trying really hard at some of the events in preparation for sports day. Keep up the good work!
Armthorpe Miners Memorial Garden
Mr Meade and Mrs Price took five Y1 and five reception children to learn a bit about Armthorpe’s mining history! Our children have also planted a time capsule of their beautiful expedition work, which will be re-opened in 5 years time! This was a beautiful experience which links very closely to both EYFS and KS1’s current expeditions.

Cultural Day
Wow! What a fab afternoon we have all had. We have taste tested foods from the world, danced to music from different cultures and designed Henna patterns.
A huge thank you to our parents who came to celebrate with us and for your engagement this afternoon. It is very much appreciated.
