We had a lovely walk to the shop today to buy the ingredients for our baking.
Thank you to the people at the Premier Shop for helping us. We are ready now to bake the buns for Age UK.

F2 went into the hall for the first time to celebrate with the other children today. They were very sensible and listened really well. Other teachers commented on how well they sat. Well done F2P.

Congratulations to Raegan for getting our yellow t-shirt today. He was very proud. Raegan had tried so hard in his learning in school and at home and has moved up a reading shelf this week. Well done Raegan. You are a superstar.

Our postcards have been given to Alec and Evanas today. They have been practicing number bonds and today they could recall numbers that make 10. Well done boys.

This Christmas we will be raffling off coloured Christmas hampers which would make the perfect Christmas gifts. Each class has been challenged with a colour and the idea is each child will contribute something in that colour to add to the hamper. The class with the most contributions will win a prize. Please see above for your child’s class colour and examples of hamper contribution ideas.

We have had a busy afternoon making decorations for the Christmas trees in the school entrance. We mixed cornflour and glue, rolled out the dough and made trees and stars.
Tomorrow we will use our fine motor skills again to thread and tie.

Next term EYFS are going to be Early Years Engineers. They are considering in a world of possibilities what they will make. We would like people to come and talk to the children about their jobs especially relating to creating and building – artists, joiners, builders (and related trades). If you can help or know someone who can, please let us know.
We would also like to learn how to build dens and tents that we can fit inside of, if anyone can help with this too.
