We would love to see as many families as possible supporting the Plover pantry. Every Thursday (starting after half term) there will be an opportunity for you to buy groceries on a pay as you feel basis. Plover have teamed up with FareShare to support our families and communities. Please spread the word!
This afternoon we celebrated the end of Year 6 SATs by having a treat from the ice cream van, a bbq and a rounders match against the parents. We must say the parents were very good and managed to beat the Year 6’s. We definitely need a rematch! Thank you for everyone’s support today and well done again to our amazing Year 6’s! We are so proud of you all. Have a well deserved break this weekend!
Last week this beautiful film, made by Schools on Screen about XP, premiered at the Samsung Centre in London – how exciting! Now it’s available to watch on YouTube! Be sure to give this wonderful story a watch and share it with your friends and family!
Tomorrow parents can join Year 6 on the field at 1:15pm. Children will be having their dinner as normal and then they will play their rounders match and finish off the day with a bbq. We can’t wait to see you all to celebrate the end of SATs!
We have had a great day looking round the gardens and Hall at Brodsworth. Despite the rain, we tired the gardens completing our sculpture trail.
Then we followed the treasure hunt round the great houses learning about all the connections to the slave trade.
The hall is filled with amazing furniture, artwork and decorations and we were surprised at how much mahogany was used.We learnt some fascinating facts along the way too!
I am so proud of the behaviour of the children during the visit and especially how they didn’t let the rain dampen their spirits.
I’m sure the other classes will have an equally great time when they visit tomorrow!
