I hope you agree that our corridor immersion is fabulous. Thank you to every one who has helped to create this, especially Mrs T and Mrs Keir – the children have really appreciated your amazing talents!

It’s been another busy day in 5T, crafting different animals and scenery to immerse our classroom. This afternoon, we have enjoyed The Lorax. This is an introduction to human impact on our planet and will dad onto some work on the rainforest and human impact on the rainforests in the coming days and into Case Study One. #LovePlover
Welcome back 5T, it’s so good to see you after the break.
We’ve had a really fun day making decorations to immerse our classroom for the new expedition. We are excited to learn about the rainforest and think about how it links to the guiding question. Here’s a few photos from our first day back. #LovePlover
Year 6 have been busy being creative today. They have transformed our blank canvas classrooms into rainforests with trees, canopy layers and animals which would be found in the rainforest environment.
Well done everyone – true crew teamwork!

5K are busy creating animals to decorate our classroom with. We don’t know our guiding question yet but hopefully we are starting to have some ideas. After our last case study, we are trying to use different techniques and pressure to create a range of effects.
We will be on week 3 when we return in the New Year, please see attached as days have been swapped around due to food deliveries.
Thank you & enjoy Christmas break.
5T had such a lovely party this afternoon with lots of fun games. These included musical statues, musical chairs, pin the nose on Rudolph and corners! It was so much fun and it was so lovely to laugh and have fun together. Thank you Miss Free for cutting out all the Rudolph noses and making festive corners and to Mrs Pass to for helping organise a 22 person musical chair extravaganza! Thank you also to our cooks who made everyone a wonderful party box of goodies – these were such a hit! #LovePlover
The pupils of Plover have been very creative this week making Christmas cards for the Santa-gram scheme.
Home Instead Doncaster are running a Be A Santa-gram to a Senior as part of their commitment to make the biggest possible difference to the lives of older people in the Doncaster area.
The cards will be distributed to the Alzheimer’s Society (Doncaster), Age UK (Doncaster), DonMentia (local dementia charity), b:friend and our clients who live in their own homes.

Thank you Miss Free for a super fun PE session. These might look like hoops to an untrained eye, but if you’re in 5T, you’d know they are actually sleighs! The children have had to work together to get their sleigh back to the North Pole, before going back and collecting some presents dropped by Santa! What a fun afternoon! #LovePlover
Tomorrow is your last opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for our Christmas raffle. Here are just a selection of our fabulous prizes. Thank you to everyone who has donated prizes and purchased tickets. We are very grateful!
