Today we managed to raise Ā£60 on our ice pop sale so thank you so much to everyone who bought one. Some children were too excited to eat their ice pops that they didnāt want a photo. We know some children had forgotten their money so please donāt worry, we will be selling ice pops again next week.

Last Friday in KS1, and this morning in KS2, we had the inspirational and extraordinary Ray Matthews – a true role model!
Ray is an avid sportsman and a national icon, due to the astonishing achievements he has accomplished and vast amount of fundraisers he has done during his 79 years.
In a few weeks Ray turns 80, and 80 schools, will be completing 80 miles to raise money for Rays chosen charity Age UK! https://www.peoplesfundraising.com/donation/rays808080birthdaychallenge
As a school we see the importance of physical activity and exercise, and therefore from Monday we will be making a stand as a whole school crew, to complete the daily mile every single day – all children and all staff!
Check out the the truly astonishing video of Ray below!
Work hard – Challenge yourself – Get active – Feel great!

Year 6 have had the best day today and they have been absolutely gorgeous! They are just eating their tea and chatting about all the fun they have had. Thank you so much to everyone who has volunteered on this trip to make it happen. Staff have taken hundreds of photos which will be blogged and made in to a video as soon as possible. We will send parents a text when we are one hour away.

We have just got back on the coach after our services stop off. The children loved their KFC! Thank you again to everyone who contributed to our breakfast sandwich fundraiser as the funds from that have allowed our children to enjoy their KFC at no cost to them. We are around an hour away from Warner brothers studios! How exciting! Keep checking our blog to see when we arrive!

Just a few reminders regarding the Harry Potter trip:
-Children can attend school at normal time on Thursday- we will be setting off promptly at 9:30am.
-Children will be having KFC for dinner- paid for with fundraising money (all children have already ordered). Children need a packed lunch for their tea.
-Children can come in non-uniform (appropriate, comfy clothes and footwear).
-They can bring water for the journey, snacks (no chewing gum) and a cushion if they wish.
-No phones are allowed, I will ensure I take plenty of photos for the children’s memories and I will create a video of the photos which I will share on our blog and Facebook page
If you have any further questions- please feel free to email me on [email protected]
At Plover, we have introduced toast at break times at no costs to children for everyone to keep their tummies full! As you can see Years 5&6 were so happy to be tucking into their toast!
