We have been investigating the adaptations of finchesā beaks, which were studied by Charles Darwin, on the GalĆ”pagos Islands. It inspired some fabulous collaboration and use of scientific terminology.

All of these children have impressed either me (Mrs Haycock), Miss Blackham or Mrs Price today. This has been in a range of ways. Some of us have coached our peers who needed a little helping hand; some of us have led our own learning and chosen to carry on with our learning rather than take part in Plover Praise. Then there is William who is just point blank amazing. Mrs Price was incredibly impressed by his maths book.
