Well done to Crew Blackham for passing the most quizzes for the 2nd week running. A shout out goes to Crew Chapman for coming a very close second. However, Iā€™m most impressed with Crew Topliss this week – they must have been reading lots and quizzing because they have managed to get into third place.

Awesome reading KS2! Keep going and remember every time you pass a quiz about the book youā€™ve just read, you will be in with a chance of winning a box of Dunkin Doughnuts. Remember, you have to read to win it!

Pride of Plover/ Maths Work

I want to start by showing an appreciation for Crew Chapman. What could have been a challenging week has been a breeze and really enjoyable because every one of you have settled back into class routines easily. We’ve had lots of fun playing games in crew and I feel we’ve got to learn even more about each other.

Well done to Caris for receiving the Pride of Plover award today. Caris has worked hard to get smart all week. We are very proud of you.

It’s been an exciting week in Maths. We had a paper aeroplane competition. We measured the distances the planes travelled in metric and converted the units into imperial measures. We then constructed bar charts to present the data from the competition. Well done to Rajitha and Kian for making the plane that travelled the furthest distance.

Aereoplane Maths: Day 2!

Today in Crew Chapman, we designed paper aeroplanes and took part in a competition to see which group made the plane that travelled the furthest. Lots of Maths were involved as we measured in Cm then we had to covert the measurements into M and also MM. Tomorrow we are going to convert our measurements into inches, feet and yards. Accelerated Reader League

Congratulations to 6C for passing the most quizzes last week, for the third week running. A shout out goes to 6H for moving into second place and 3L gets a shout out for being third place for the last four weeks.

Which class will be at the top of the league this Friday. Will 6C be knocked off? Will 3L move up into second or first place? Will a class from Year 5 or Year 4, move into the top 3 positions.
