Year 6 Sats revision prize draw! Do you want to win a Nandoā€™s!?

From Monday, SATs revision (extended study) will be available via Google classroom. For every day you complete an activity (there will be a range to choose from) your name will be entered into a prize draw!
There will be a small prize for everyone who enters and of course an after SATs treat for all but three winners will be selected to enjoy a dinner at Nandoā€™s!

Youā€™ve got to be in it to win it! Please check you can access Google classroom before Monday to ensure you can earn the maximum amount of tickets to be in with a greater chance of winning the overall prize!

Serving at the premier!

These three superstars were awesome today at the launch of our final product from last summer (video to follow from our fab media team at XP!). As a reward for how fabulous they had been, the children were treated to a bar of chocolate each. The lovely gent at Premier let the children scan their items, take the money and sort the change- how amazing!

Y5/6 Police Community Day

Years 5 and 6 have been busy thinking about how to keep themselves safe in the community that they live. Road safety is paramount in this. We have learnt about the various types of road crossings in our area and others that we may come across when walking around.


In addition, we have also considered how our clothing, and the behaviours we display, can also impact on our safety when out and about.

I wonder what our anti-social behaviour session will bring next.

Plover Ambassadors

Our new Ambassadors had an exciting morning visiting XP East, where they had a tour of the school from their experienced school ambassadors. Our pupils really enjoyed the visit, the XP pupils were amazing and taught us how to make a tour interesting and fun. We canā€™t wait to start to show visitors around our school. Obviously, our first visitors will be XP East as we want them to critique our skills!

Sharing Christmas cards with our community!

The pupils of Plover have been very creative this week making Christmas cards for the Santa-gram scheme.
Home Instead Doncaster are running a Be A Santa-gram to a Senior as part of their commitment to make the biggest possible difference to the lives of older people in the Doncaster area.
The cards will be distributed to the Alzheimerā€™s Society (Doncaster), Age UK (Doncaster), DonMentia (local dementia charity), b:friend and our clients who live in their own homes.
