We have kick started our art case study and have been focusing on how to create a vanishing point. 6B absolutely smashed their sketching yesterday and produced the most beautiful work! I am so proud! This is really going to help us when creating our final product!

6T are creating beautiful work, learning all about perspective in their art lessons. I have been so impressed with their attention to detail. Well done everyone. #LovePlover
Today we created a habitat box model – under the sea! We were artists and learned how to use our tearing, twisting, scrunching, cutting, snipping, sticking, layering, collage, pulling, bending, colouring and painting skills. #LovePlover
6B have been continuing to work as artists today and drawing using perspective. They were inspired by the work of Stephen Wiltshire and his cityscape sketches. They were so excited to have a go at their own city scales this afternoon!
Ask your children to share a fact about Stephen Wiltshire!

Mel Hewitt from XP visited us today to show year 5 how to draw trains and teach them about perspective and the vanishing point. The children enjoyed seeing her amazing drawings and made a great start on having a go at their own drawings.
We are budding artists in year 6 as we learn perception in Art.
Today, 1LI have been busy creating reindeer using their art and design skills.
Today we did some Grinch Christmas yoga in crew then decorated our two Christmas baubles! #LovePlover
UKS2 have been working so hard all term to finish their sustainable greenhouse and planters to grow produce for our Plover pantry. They have planned, designed, evaluated and critiqued to ensure the final product was the best it could be! Next week, we will plant the first of our produce and we can’t wait to observe and watch it grow! We also want to use some of our home-grown goods as part of our summer Expedition- all about healthy eating! Come back to check out our blogs next week to see us planting!
