Here is this week’s Feel Good Friday! Thank you to all those who have took part! We are missing you all!
Category : F2: Mrs Price’s Blog
This week for F2P Pride of Plover I have chosen Roscoe. I have been impressed with all of his home learning this week. He has made a pirate boat, a telescope and has been on a pirate treasure hunt. Roscoe has also been at work in his garden, learning about plants and how to grow them. Well done Roscoe.

Some photos of today’s learning.
One more day on our Pirate theme then onto learning about dragons. Are dragons real or pretend?
Harry wanted to do the same home learning as his sister and has drawn and coloured this amazing picture of a fruit bowl. Well done Harry.

This is a good example of what you could do with your learning. Ellis had enjoyed making pirate treasure maps. He made a map of his garden which his mummy then added to with directions. Ellis pretended to be the pirate and found the treasure at the end.

Maybe you could have a go at making a treasure map today.
F2 have continued with their pirate learning. We have seen pictures and observations about making hats, rhyming, sorting treasure coins, making flags etc.
Here are some photos.

Examples of our pirate learning from today – treasure maps. Can you find the treasure?

Here are some examples of our pirate learning today.
,
I wonder how far these pirates can see!!
As many of you have enjoyed creating maps and treasure trails we thought we would spend half term pretending to be pirates. We are providing some ideas for you but I am sure that you can think of other things – perhaps learning about pirates are, what they do and where they go. Carry on practicing your phonics and numbers.
F1 – for phonics practice blending and segmenting sounds in words, recognising s,a,t,p,i,n,m,d,g,o,c,k,, reading I, no, go, to, the, into, writing your name, recognising numbers to 10, counting objects, saying what 1 more or 1 fewer will be.
F2 – practice phonics at the level you were working at, reading and writing tricky words, solving problems using numbers with 20 and then beyond.
Have a lovely week

The next F2P hangout will be Monday morning at 10. This will then be a weekly event. An email has been sent to your child’s email address. If you haven’t managed to access your child’s emails yet, this is what you need to do.
Load the school website ploverschool.co.uk.
Then log in to the website.
Your username is the first initial of your child’s name followed by your surname eg Joanne Blog would be jblog
The initial password is pa55word. You will then change to a password you will remember. You will then be able to access your child’s emails.
- Go to your email (when you log in to the school website with your username and password the email icon is at the top – it looks like M)
- Accept the email invitation (this will be on your calendar ready for next week)
- Wait until next Monday!
- Before the meeting starts, open your emails again repeating step 1.
- Find 9 dots near to the top right hand corner of the screen.
- Click these dots and open calendar.
- Click the event . This will open a separate tab and you need to click join with Google Meet. You will then be taken to the meeting.
You can also use the APP if this is easier.
If you have problems logging on, I can add parent emails. Just let me know in an email or on Evidence me.
Looking forward to seeing you all. Bring something that you have learnt or made to show your friends.
