PE ⚽️
In our PE lesson this week, we were practicing dribbling the ball using small touches. The children were then asked to work as a team to race each other to see who could complete the course the fastest.
The children we then challenged further by having more cones to move through. We had lots of fun with Coach Morgan & Coach Adam!
Big Congratulations to Lola and Joe, our sports stars of the week! 🌟
We Care Wednesday
In Crew we discussed how things and feelings can effect our emotions. We then displayed an act of kindness for Mrs Duckitt’s daughter at Green Top.
In PE, we developed our Invasion games knowledge by playing cat and mouse using our throwing and catching skills. #LovePlover
Year 3 PE
This morning, year 3 had continued with their athletics and today, they were practicing their long jumps. They started off with Simon says to test their reflexes until the last one standing, then in pairs, they jumped as far as they could before they placed a cone on where they jumped. Year 4 then finished with a different version of red light, green light where they had to jump their way to the finish line. They left the session with big smiles on their faces and superstars all around. Super proud of you year 3 this week!

Active Learning
Active Maths and Science! Well done Alfie for being a super reader in phonics! #LovePlover
Year 6 PE
Year 6 had discovered what athletics is all about today. They discussed the meaning of quick reactions and reflexes. They were then tested on their reaction skills with a game to see who could get the cone the fastest to get points. The children then were split into groups of 3 so their running skills could be worked on. One child was the coach, one was timing the runner, and the last running, to which they all took turns. I saw great teamwork being displayed and was super impressed by the enthusiasm shown this morning!
