Our Plover Praise Postcard went to Paul today for how much effort he put into his learning today.

Well done Paul, big improvement, keep it up!

Marvellous Maths in 3G

We have been learning about graphs and charts this week in maths.

To help us to practise our tally charts and pictograms, we decided to investigate how many different coloured smarties there were in a bag – this had the added incentive of being able to eat the smarties!

We did some greater charts and really improved our maths skills, as we had to grapple with how to create the pictograms.

Wonderful home learning keeps coming in!

Yet again, I was blown away by the fantastic effort that has gone into producing home learning.

This week, Morris shared with us his Viking house that has taken so much time to produce.

It has real pebble paths and camp fires outside the door, as well as a natural roof.

Great imagination but also great use of your historical knowledge Morris. Well done!

3G Pride of Plover

Our class were keen to award Eden our Pride of Plover certificate this week, because of how hard she has worked since joining us and how well she has done at settling in and making new friends.

Well done Eden, you are a great addition to our class.

3G Plover Praise

Today we welcomed a new pupil into 3G and the class overwhelmingly wanted to give her the Plover Praise postcard, as she has had such a brilliant start to her time at Plover. She has contributed to all lesson and shown great perseverance in her learning.

A warm welcome to Eden and and very well done, you have had a brilliant start.

Spooky fun in LKS2

We have had a great halloween party tonight in LKS2. Everyone put so much effort into their costumes and make-up – you could be professional MUAs some of you!!!

We played some games and ate some party food and overall had a good laugh!

Thank you to parents and carers for bring your children back into school and thanks to the LKS2 for turning the party round so quickly at the end of the day, and clearing up afterwards!

We are now looking forward to our half term break, but what a great way to get ready for it!
