Year 5 have enjoyed a session today recapping past and present tense verbs. We have practiced this skill ahead of our diary writing at the end of Cycle 1. Keep working hard Year 5, you have been nothing short of superb this week! I am so impressed with your learning behaviours and have felt very proud of you when other adults have noticed this too. #LovePlover

Macmillan afternoon tea- Thursday 23rd September 3-4pm

Calling our Plover crew! We are hosting the great Plover bake off on Thursday 23rd September 3-4pm! We want you all to bake some sweet treats which will be sold at our afternoon tea event. Everyone who donates will be entered into a draw to win a hamper of goodies and there will be an overall star baker award for EYFS, KS1,LKS2 and UKS2! Phase prizes include Nando’s vouchers, flip out vouchers, go bounce vouchers and more!


Parents /carers are welcome to join our socially distanced event on the 23rd 3-4pm for a chance to have coffee, tea, juice and sweet treats whilst raising money for a good cause. Your support means so much to us so please spread the word!

Our first week doing All Block!

In Years 5/6 we have started all block! I am so impressed with the resilience the children have shown when answering some tricky comprehension questions in the independent groups. I’ve seen awesome discussions in the teacher led groups and some great independent reading! Well done 5/6!
