Times Tables Rockstars

Well done to everyone who made it into the top 3 of our league tables this week.

Let’s heat the competition up: crew coins will be awarded to all who improve the speed of their recall (how long it takes to answer a question).

How many you earn is down to you – the bigger the improvement, the bigger the reward!

Swimming Lessons

Just a quick note to say how proud I was of every member of 5T today, your behaviour at swimming was excellent. The leisure centre staff also commented on this. Every child tried their best and I am so proud to say that everyone went into the water and had fun increasing their confidence in being in the water, going under and starting to blow bubbles to help with breathing under water. It was a joy to watch you all.

A quick reminder to adults, that no matter how warm the day is, all children must take a coat swimming. When they come out of the pool, many have wet hair, and the swimming baths are very warm, so the weather outside can feel quite harsh! All children need something nice and warm to snuggle into whilst they readjust to the temperature outside of the pool.

Thank you for ensuring your children had the correct items for swimming today. It made our job, and the job of the staff at the pool, very easy and meant the children got the maximum amount of time in the pool.

SLC’s

A huge well done to everyone who completed their SLC’s tonight. You all did a superb job and should be very proud of yourselves. I felt ready to burst with pride with how well you all did and I’m sure your grown ups felt the same. I am looking forward to sharing the rest with you tomorrow and Friday! #LovePlover
