Thank you so much to everyone who donated a jar. Yearās 5&6 loved creating these gorgeous jars of reasons why they love their mums/step-mums/grandparents/aunties and dads who play the role of mums! We hope all who received them love them as much as the children loved making them!
We do have a video of these creations close up but we are waiting on permission slips for some children in Year 5 to confirm they are allowed on our blog. Once class teachers have chased this up, we will share the video 💙
After a week of assessments, Year 6 had some time outside to enjoy the sunshine whilst reading a book with friends ☀️ I am so proud of each and everyone of them and the resilience they have shown this week! They are all stars! Keep being awesome Year 6 and enjoy your weekend in the sunshine!
Kyle is just simply amazing! He has blown me away from day 1! He really is a shinning star and he has smashed his assessments this week! Well done Kyle!
We just want to say thank you to everyone who is supporting our fundraising towards Year 6 leavers hoodies. It really is much appreciated. Please can I ask that you email confirmation that your child can receive a hoodie and the size they require by Thursday 31st March to [email protected]
A huge shout out to all of Year 6 who are working as hard as ever during their assessment week. This morning, after completing the reading test, Year 6 had the opportunity to revisit and reflect on yesterdayās arithmetic scores. The children highlighted their strengths and areas for improvement and then got to work! Each child had the opportunity to coach a question they were confident with to their peers. It was amazing to see everyone chipping in and working together!
Please get involved in our Easter competition! All entires will be celebrated in an Easter video and shared across our social media, there are also prizes to be won! So get creative and we can’t wait to see what you come up with!
We would be so very grateful to anyone who would like to donate towards our raffle and purchase tickets to raise funds for our Year 6’s leavers hoodies. Please take any donations to 6B (Miss Blackham) and see the above poster for details how to purchase tickets!
Awesome work in maths this morning 6H! I am so proud of you all and your resilience! You are smashing area and perimeter ! Remember to share your extended study with me tomorrow!
Today children have been challenging one another in their red box work groups ready to move onto the next stage of learning ahead of their maths lessons. I am so proud of the resilience they have shown as there were lots of different groups to get through but children took on the teacher role to support their peers and they used models to support them whilst I was working in other groups. Well done Year 6!
