Iāve been blown away by the amount of children who accessed extended study last night. My emails were pinging last night with lots of submissions from our Year 6ās. We also had 17 children who joined our brioche breakfast this morning which was amazing to see but I am challenging all of year 6 to attend! Letās get as many entries into the prize draw as we can. We need a Nandoās!

Marvellous maths!
Year 6 have been awesome this morning! They were each set a number of personal challenges based on yesterdayās arithmetic scores and they have absolutely smashed it! They used models to support their independent learning and it was great to see them showing their working out! Well done everyone!

Year 6 Sats revision prize draw! Do you want to win a Nandoās!?
From Monday, SATs revision (extended study) will be available via Google classroom. For every day you complete an activity (there will be a range to choose from) your name will be entered into a prize draw!
There will be a small prize for everyone who enters and of course an after SATs treat for all but three winners will be selected to enjoy a dinner at Nandoās!
Youāve got to be in it to win it! Please check you can access Google classroom before Monday to ensure you can earn the maximum amount of tickets to be in with a greater chance of winning the overall prize!

Y5/6 Police Community Day
Years 5 and 6 have been busy thinking about how to keep themselves safe in the community that they live. Road safety is paramount in this. We have learnt about the various types of road crossings in our area and others that we may come across when walking around.
In addition, we have also considered how our clothing, and the behaviours we display, can also impact on our safety when out and about.
I wonder what our anti-social behaviour session will bring next.

Fabulous Tropical World Trip!
Year 6 have had a wonderful trip to Tropical World today. We engaged in a workshop, classifying animals and learnt about the adaptations of animals. We also had a walk around the centre, which allowed us to study animals from South America in a rainforest environment.
