Thank you to everyone who supported our Year 6 leavers celebrations this afternoon. It wasn’t how we originally planned but I’m so pleased we saw so many smiling faces and had the chance to say goodbye. If you have any pictures of the event please forward them to [email protected] and I’ll make them into a video for the end of this week! As this school year comes to an end, we start to think ahead to next year. Our children have been informed who their teacher is going to be next year, had the chance to find out a little bit about them and are hopefully writing about themselves to share with their new teacher.
School restrictions during Covid-19 have made it impossible to complete the transition activities we would normally put in place to support your child with their move to their new class, however we would like to offer all children the opportunity to meet with their new children ‘virtually’.
We have arranged Google Meets on Thursday and Friday with all of our teachers. We have tried where possible to offer two times to avoid clashing times with classes and to provide some choice – children do not need to join both Google Meets.
Meeting joining codes will be shared via email and Google classroom.

Here is the big unveiling of the fantastic work you have produced to add to our time capsule!
Key Stage One have worked extremely hard during their time away from school and have produced a fabulous end product as a result of this. We as teachers are very proud of the work that has been produced and believe the children should be very proud of themselves too.
Thank you to all for your hard work and support during your time at home, we hope you are as delighted as we are with the finished product.
