Have a fantastic Easter holiday 4L and please continue to stay safe.
I just wanted to wish you all a very happy Easter.
The children have worked really hard this week writing their letters to Sir David Attenborough. We will be sending them off and hoping for a reply.
I shall be working on our recording of the Plover āWhat a Wonderful Worldā song – I will share it on the blog as soon as it is done.
Well done to all of you that entered the decorate an Easter Egg competition – I am stunned at how creative and imaginative you are.
well done to Frank and Shashank for winning the Dunkin Donuts Reading Competition – donāt eat those donāt eat them all at once!
Thank you parents and guardians for your support this term, it has been challenging but hopefully next term will be returning more to normal.
Finally, enjoy the holidays and we look forward to welcoming you all back in two weeks when we will begin our new Expedition: āHow do we make Doncaster healthy?ā

Congratulations to Frank (Year 3) and Shashank (Year 4) for winning the Dunkin Donuts competition this morning! We are so proud of you both for the reading you have done this half term. Well done to all our children, there were so many entries! Keep your eyes peeled for the next competition! #LovePlover
This week we have been writing letters to send to David Attenborough about the work we have been completing in our mini expedition. We have spent today’s lesson critiquing each others work, in preparation to write in our best handwriting tomorrow.
This week Year 4 have been looking at fractions and today we have learnt how to convert mixed numbers to improper fractions. The children worked collaboratively to match the fractions together to a picture and then convert this to a mixed number.
Well done to Crew Blackham for passing the most quizzes for the 2nd week running. A shout out goes to Crew Chapman for coming a very close second. However, Iām most impressed with Crew Topliss this week – they must have been reading lots and quizzing because they have managed to get into third place.
Awesome reading KS2! Keep going and remember every time you pass a quiz about the book youāve just read, you will be in with a chance of winning a box of Dunkin Doughnuts. Remember, you have to read to win it!
Today, we have created posters on how we could save the environment. We came up with lots of fantastic ideas and worked really well together to create posters to present to our friends.
Well done 4L!

It has been a week since World Book Day, and I thought it would be lovely to look back and remember what a great day it was.
The website has been updated with photographs, so head over there if you want to linger over the pictures a little longer.
But for a whistle-stop tour of the day, check out our video…..

A huge well done to Elizabeth on winning the yellow t-shirt this week. Elizabeth’s personality is really shining through, she always follows the Plover Pledge and she is always willing to support her friends.
