Friday Feeling and Thank you :)

It was lovely to see lots of KS1 crew celebrating and enjoying their Plover Praise this afternoon, by dancing, singing and playing a few party games!

Well done for all your hard work and efforts this week… stay safe and enjoy your weekends. Remember to still send photos to share what fun you get up to over the weekend.

One final appreciation and shout out to all our KS1 parents (superhero’s) who are continuing to support, cooperate and engage with us all and your children with their online learning. You are doing amazing and should be proud!

See you all on Monday.

E-Safety Poster Winner!

Thank you to everyone for entering your posters for the e-safety competition. There have been some excellent, creative entries. It has been very hard to judge! We have decided to give a small prize for the best entry in each class because it has been so hard to choose.

The 1M winner is…

Peyton! Well done Peyton. We can see the time and effort you have put in to giving us all a really important message.

There is a yoyo prize in class for you when we are next able to be together.

Pride of Plover Winner – Roscoe!

A massive congratulations and a huge happy birthday to our Pride of Plover winner this week… Roscoe!

It is thoroughly deserved for your continued hard work and accessing of remote learning whilst at home. Creating and making some awesome crafts linked to our expedition. But best of all, for the improved amounts of writing you have been producing for English and phonics – keep it up buddy and I look forward to seeing that brilliant writing when we are back in school.

Great Fire of Plover… I mean London!

Over the last week, children in school have been making crafts to replicate houses similar to those on the streets of London in 1666.

This afternoon (with no rain or snow in sight) but a slight breeze… we investigated how quickly the fire spread to show what this would have been like on a mass scale during 17th Century!

Check out the video below to see (a small) London burning!

Madness in KS1

The staff in KS1 have gone slightly ‘wild’ with excitement seeing how well you are all engaging with your work. We have all been writers, historians and mathematicians, both at home and in school.  The standard of work has been super.  Also we have found lots of opportunities to be creative, baking bread, continuing to develop our learning environments and making puppets to help with our learning environment.

KS1 you rock!

From all the KS1 Crew.

Pride of Plover

This has been an extremely difficult choice this week. There have been so many deserving people who have done so much brilliant learning. I am only allowed to choose one person though! This week, I have chosen Shayen. He has gone over and above with his learning every week so far and I have to reward his determination and effort. The highlight for this week has to be the video that I have included below.

If you did not win this week, do not be upset as I will have to pick another winner next week as well. It could be you! I am noticing all of the effort that pupils at home and at school have been putting in and it is amazing!

Well done again Shayen.

Plover praise postcards

Shout out to Jan who has worked hard in all lessons and accessed the live sessions at home. Jan has also been answering and speaking in full sentences. Keep it up buddy!

Well done to Rahand also who has learned from his mistake earlier in the week and been the kind, hardworking boy we know you are!
