Today Y2P have been ‘Information Technologists’ busy learning how to use the iPads safely. We explored different websites by typing in the search bar some real life superheroes and recorded the website addresses and some information. We were being crew with our learning by helping others and working together. #Loveplover
As part of our expedition lesson, we are learning to blog. We have used the Ipad to take pictures of our beautiful work. We have also taken photos of our shared area and of our display walls. #LOVEPLOVER!
Crew Meade discussed how we can make people feel grateful and happy when doing acts of kindness. They helped Mr Taylor by taking all the old KS1 chairs down to the hall and carrying the benches back safely!
Mr Taylor will be so chuffed when he gets back this afternoon – great job KS1 crews!
We’ve had a great day today 2B! We got lots of writing done this morning, well done everyone. Especially those who helped other children in the class, I love to see that! In maths today we looked at odd and even numbers. I wonder if anyone can find me numbers at home (it might be the amount of photographs on the wall or magnets on the fridge) and talk to your adult about why this number is odd or even. Then, in P.E after warming up with some superhero games we practiced our ball controlling skills.
Congratulations to Peyton for receiving the postcard today for helping all her friends! And shoutout to Violet for these fantastic photos in P.E! A photographer in the making maybe?
A massive well done Myla, Anna, Sofia and Beau who were given a Plover Praise post card today by their crew leaders. Mr Meade, Miss Newton and Mrs Jobber are so proud to have you in our crews!
1M practised and applied their new grapheme ‘ng’ during their phonics literacy labs this morning, before predicting what our new text we are going to be learning about. In maths children completed their entry tickets and did activities focussing on addition! Mr Meade was impressed! #LovePlover
