This Christmas we will be raffling off coloured Christmas hampers which would make the perfect Christmas gifts. Each class has been challenged with a colour and the idea is each child will contribute something in that colour to add to the hamper. The class with the most contributions will win a prize. Please see above for your child’s class colour and examples of hamper contribution ideas.

Exciting news! The book fair will return to Plover, next Thursday 24th November until Wednesday 1st December. The book fair will be located in the main entrance to the school between these dates each day between 3pm and 3.30pm, and entry will be through the main entrance. The book fair will visit us from ‘Travelling Books’, who are part of the Scholastic group.
There will be a range of wonderful books to choose from, as well as lots of the ever popular stationery items!

Well done to Lilly-Grace who won 1st place and has won two cinema tickets. Charlie won second place but Ethan (his brother ) is pictured. Plover invite you all to our year group spooky Halloween discos on Thursday 14th October. Children can come dressed up in costumes and they will be given Halloween sweet treats and party food fora a £2 entry fee.

🇺🇸 Thursday 7th October will be our American dinner day! We are asking children to come dressed in red, white and blue and join us on school dinners to try some yummy American style food🇺🇸
Every child who has a dinner on this day will be entered into a raffle to win either 2 tickets for the new Savoy theatre, a box of 12 Dunkin donuts or a sweet treat box including popcorn and chocolate! 🎟 🍩🍿
We can’t wait to try the pancakes and honey 😋

This morning we have made ice lollies using tinned fruit and fresh fruit juice. The children enjoyed making these and ill hopefully enjoy having these on Monday during our film morning.

Hi all,
With England’s fantastic result in the Quarter Finals on Saturday. We here at Plover are going to show our support by having a England themed non-uniform day on Wednesday, as England are playing in the Semi-Final on Wednesday evening!
If you don’t have England kits, don’t worry, you can wear other football shirts, PE/sports clothes or something red and white to represent England!
