Boggledybook Visit

In our current expedition story, Lucy and Tom at the seaside, Lucy and Tom made faces on the beach using natural resources. Today during provision we have been making faces, using natural resources in our sand area, to recreate this.

We have been adding to provision in our outdoor learning. We have been fishing using fishing nets, having picnics, making the food and pretending that we are at the seaside in the sand pit.

On Thursday 5th May, Boggledybook are visiting Plover School. They have books available for purchase for all ages across the primary age range. Book are brand new and cost either £1, £2 or £3. We hope to see you visiting next week! #LovePlover
We did a gallery walk today of the story Lucy and Tom at the seaside. We looked at pictures from the book and talked to our friends about what we had seen. The children then predicted what they thought would happen.

Well done to Nevaeh who worked really hard to use her phonics, to write a list this morning. Nevaeh persevered with her work even though she found it difficult.

Our new Expedition is called, “What happens where the sea meets the shore?”
Please send in photographs of your child at the seaside, for our learning within the setting.
We will be comparing the seaside activities of today, with those in the past.
Well done to all of those children, who spoke in their Student Led Conference, about their learning in the setting.
