We used the soft play today in PE to develop our fundamental movements. We jumped, skipped, balanced, rolled. Then we lifted and build different patterns. Finished off with our colourful rangoli pattern! #LovePlover
Mrs Bubb’s Story Explorers
Today, we donned our wings and explored Mr Meade and Mrs Bubb’s favourite story- Perfectly Norman. The children loved pretending to be Norman and flying in their wings. They listened to the story beautifully and talked and answered questions really well. We ❤️ Mondays when we get to be STORY EXPLORERS! Perfectly Charlie remembered that the main character had a dog. PERFECTLY EMMA said that he was sad. Perfectly Nevaeh talked a lot about what was happening all the way through the story and Perfectly Rivier knew he was going t take his coat off at the end and feel happy!

KS1 Pride of Plover
Well done to this week’s Pride of Plover winners in Key Stage 1. We loved hearing about your courage in your learning. Whether this was through challenging yourself to try something harder and being brave to have a go at something new. Well done everyone!

We are artists.
After learning about the Great Fire of London, 2P developed their art skills so that they could use them to produce a piece of art that is inspired by the fire. We learnt about the primary colours and then mixed them to create the secondary colours. We discussed how colours can evoke feelings of warm and cold and used this to create a sun and moon image using these colours. We then used this knowledge to mix colours to create a background wash that looked like fire and we applied this in layers using sponges. We then used our cutting skills to create a cityscape silhouette to layer onto the background we had painted. We did some brilliant art!

A fantastic opportunity for our KS2 pupils… singing at Sandall Park on Sunday 7th December

We have kindly been invited to spread some Christmas cheer on Sunday 7th December at Sandall Park- 10am. It would be amazing to have as many KS2 pupils as possible to join and represent Plover 🙂
If your child is able to attend, please return the letter before the 7th November so we can arrange some time to rehearse the songs as a group.
