We are loving getting active in F1! We have been working our gross and fine motor skills through puddle jumping, play dough disco, wake up shake up dances and soft play.

Today, year 4 carried on with their hockey skills and defending in teams. They worked well together and communicated on passing and defending against the other team. They practiced to the best of their ability and the coaches are super proud of the achievement and progress they have been making. Well done year 4, Iām very proud of the courage and teamwork you have displayed!

Unfortunately Doncaster Knights didn’t get the win, but it was a high scoring and entertaining game.
Thank you to Tom Foy at Doncaster Knights for the tickets for our Plover Community.
Great to see some of the Plover children Jasper, Avaarni, Rhys, Seb and Alec getting into the rugby spirit! #LovePlover
Y1 & Y2 shared, played, exercised, enjoyed and importantly looked after their new playground equipment today! #LovePlover
6 Robertson had been outside doing hockey for PE today. They had practiced passing the ball onto teammates and have began defending. They worked incredibly well as groups and had so much fun. I can see the improvement and hard work that is going into each PE lesson. Well done year 6!

At the start of both our morning and afternoon sessions we have been working on getting more physically active, to help get get our brains ready to learn. So far this week we have enjoyed doing āwake up shake upā dances and play dough disco, which also helps to develop our fine motor skills. Itās been lovely to see the children so active and involved!
