Today, class 3SG have been inside the hall today to work on their team building skills and communication. They were absolutely fantastic starting off with a game involving sense of direction and understanding North, East, South and West. They then split into groups and used cones to play a colour memory game. They worked so well together in groups and had so much fun!

5M had so much fun in their PE session this week. They worked in small groups to draw a map of the school, marking on their maps where they were going to hide cones for the other teams to find. All groups were successful in finding their cones and learned how to work as a team to find what they were looking for.

Fantastic to see girls within the Intake community enjoying their football sessions and numbers increasing each week!
A huge proud shout out to our local under 8ās football club Sandall Beat! Who completed a sponsored walk at the weekend which raised over Ā£600 for their club and have very kindly donated some of the money to charity.
They walked to the Cenotaph at Elmfield Park, to lay a wreath for Remembrance Day on Sunday.
Most of the team are Plover Y3 superstars: Samuel, Bobby, George, Theo and Jenson.

In English we have looked at nouns and verbs around our new text ‘Where The Poppies Now Grow’.
In expedition we were historians and have learned about Remembrance day, the significance of Poppies and recited Flanders Field poem.
In Maths we’ve learned about addition and number bonds within 10. We enjoyed problem solving games in PE.
In We Care Wednesday Crew we understood the importance of staying safe online. #LovePlover
