Here is this week’s Feel Good Friday! Thank you to all those who have took part! We are missing you all!
Yes I found my sun cream in my cupboard and slapped it on yesterday – it’s the bottle which Bert chewed so the spray nozzle doesn’t actually work! However, it did stop my feet from getting burnt more.
Enjoy the good weather and remember to send me a pic of your holiday activities!
Lovely weather at the moment isn’t it? I was sat out yesterday we the key workers children and I noticed I was slightly pink when I got home yesterday. More sun cream today!!
Look at these superstars! Cailey has been making breakfast for her brothers and Grace has been playing games with her sister! We love seeing what you all get up to as we miss you all so much! Remember to be involved in this weeks video you need to send your pictures in by 4pm Thursday. All you need to do is send us a picture/pictures of things youāve been up to during lockdown!
Calling all budding artists! J.K. Rowling is inviting you to help illustrateĀ The IckabogĀ for her. Every day when chapters of the story are uploaded, she will be making suggestions for what you might like to draw or paint to illustrate the story as it goes along. You should let your imagination runĀ wild!
The best bit is, if you are between seven and twelve years old, your parent or guardian on your behalf can enter your drawings or paintings into the official competition being run by J.K. Rowlingās publishers, for a once in a lifetime chance to be featured inĀ The Ickabog book, which is published in November. The competition is now open in the UK!
Details about how to enter, the prize and the terms and conditions are all on the website link below.

Good morning to everyone – I hope you are all well and enjoying the holiday. Did you see all the people on the beach when the news was shown last night? There was definitely very little social distancing! Remember to keep washing your hands and keep safe.
Itās great to see so many of you getting involved in our holiday challenges! Ruby decided to make her den outside in the lovely sunshine. Cailey has made an awesome cake! Liam and Luke have had a picnic in their garden, completed a huge jigsaw and Skyped their uncle in Australia! A busy day! Please keep sending us your photos, we love to see them!
If any of you fancy taking a closer look into Yorkshire Wildlife Park (I know my class love the animals) check out their YouTube channel for lots of cool videos!Ā https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCRehThdoYRRahD_gGhv5Ubg/
I think the lock down has finally struck me! I feel the need to parle francais so bonjour and comment ca va? Good morning and how are you? I hope you are enjoying the sun. I am in school with the key workers children and it seems very strange without the rest of the children here.
Thank you to all key workers, to all our parents/carers and our children for cooperation and hard work during these uncertain times. You have all been amazing! Here is this week’s video!
If anyone missed out, we will be creating a second rainbow video, so please continue to send your pictures in.
Next week, as our school holidays approach, we would like photos/videos of anything and everything you have been up to during our school closure, this can range from home learning, activities in line with social distancing, household family fun, anything at all! Please send your videos to [email protected] no later than Thursday at 3pm.
Stay safe everyone, we miss you!
Our school challenge next week is to recreate a famous portrait. Use your imagination and get creative. Involve your family members if you want, but pick your picture, strike a pose and get snapping!
I chose a portrait by Holbein (a Tudor Artist) to copy, but you can choose any artist and style.
Have a look at the website for some brilliant examples!
Email a copy of the original portrait and your new version to me: [email protected] or to Miss Blackham: [email protected] by Thursday 28th May
