We have been using the skills that we have been building up recently to sketch a portrait of our key artist: Henry Moore. Our skills of observation and proportion have improved dramatically and I cannot wait to see the finished portraits later this week!

We Care Wednesday: Friendship

We have been thinking really carefully about what makes a good friend during our We Care Wednesday Crew sessions. We have thought about friendships such as Shrek and Donkey; R2D2 and C3PO; and Woody and Buzz. We considered how we knew that they were friends and what they would do if they ever had a falling out. Then we thought about our own friendships and how we could react or respond to our friends if we ever fall out.

Well done everyone, letā€™s look after each other and do all we can to support and care for each other.

Year 5 & 6 stargazing ā­ļø

Year 5 & 6 had an amazing night at stargazing this evening. They searched for stars and constellations and even had the privilege of working with two space experts who brought in their telescopes! Thank you to Mr Clarke and Adi! A shout out to Rioā€™s pizzas for our lovely pizza and chips for tea!

Y3/4 Netball Comp

Well done to our 10 Y3/4 who participated in a Netball competition this week at Laurel Academy against 7 other schools. A great experience for them all and a big shout out to Avianna, who was identified by the sports organisers as a key player in the whole tournament! #LovePlover

F2 Pride of Plovers

A huge well done to Reuben and Riley this week on being our pride of Plovers. Both children have had such a calm week, being very kind and helpful to others and our learning provisions. They also have been working really hard on their phonics, now knowing more sounds and writing the letters to match. #LovePlover
