We are working as scientists
There is a buzz of excitement in 3Hās classroom today as the children are very busy working in their teams to prepare resources and presentations that they will perform to their parents this afternoon. Iāve let the reins go a little and the children have decided what they want to prepare and how they want to present their learning to their parents. They are doing themselves proud. I hope they have plenty of parents to talk to later on.
Good luck this afternoon Years 3 and 4. Be confident. Be knowledgable. Be awesome. Be you!

Beautiful Butterflies
For our Motherās Day cards we drew butterflies, to link to our expedition. We worked hard to ensure our butterfly was symmetrical and learnt how to use shapes to build up our picture. Mrs Williams was so proud of how beautiful they turned out and how hard we all worked.
We hope all the special mother figures in our lives, have a lovely day celebrating on Sunday!

Life cycle of a chick
This week we have been looking at the life cycle of a chick. We used our motor skills to cut out and order the pictures.

Science Fair Preparations
We really are getting excited for our Science Fair on Friday.
I have been so impressed with everyone has worked on their projects, working at home to prepare resources and collaborating so well in class, writing scripts and practising presentations.
I am really looking forward to tomorrow afternoon, to see how everyone brings their learning to life and hope our parents and carers will too.

We are enjoying a movie and snacks
Years 3 and 4 are enjoying an extended stay at school this evening to watch a movie to enrich the learning they have been doing this term. Their expedition title has been āThe power of life: What makes us human?ā I hope they enjoy the movie and are able to make links between the different case studies we have been learning about.
