This morning the children were treated to a fairy tale breakfast, whilst listening to the story ‘There is no dragon in this story’. We had Prince Charming, Fairy Godmother, Cinderella, Big Bad Granny Wolf and Minnie Mouse all join us. Then the children painted different characters from different fairy tales, before acting out being different characters and building castles for the princesses! #LovePlover
In Crew today, we talked about road safety and made a shared poster to remind us to hold hands with a grown-up and use crossings when we can.
As a well done to all the children attending boosters and completing home learning, Year 6’s were treated to a McDonalds.
Keep up the hard work Year 6, we are nearly there!

Today we started hook week for our Summer Expedition. Who is hiding in the pages of the book?
We read The Great Fairytale Disaster and the children recognised a lot of characters. They then drew or painted some of the characters! #LovePlover
2P had a great week doing different activities to launch our new expedition – North, South, East and West: Where could your journey take you? We turned our phase into a mini-airport and we prepared ourselves to go on a journey. We all brought our boarding passes to take us on journeys all over the world. We prepared our passports and wrote down the clothes we would need to pack in our suitcases. We then boarded the plane and prepared for our flight! In English, we made mini flip-flops to hook into our performance poem about travelling. We also critiqued the artwork of notable artists who had created self-portraits. This was to inspire us in preparation for our final product. We had a great time and can’t wait to learn what will come next!
