We have been busy baking bears this afternoon, in F2. We all mixed to make the dough. Some of us rolled, cut and baked and some of us will do this tomorrow morning. We will all decorate our bear biscuit tomorrow. If you have sent your money in, your child will be binging home their biscuit to share š Remember all proceeds are going towards buying bears for the local childrenās home.

Rainbow Bearās Crew Journey
In expedition yesterday, we discussed how special āDoggerā is to Dave. We linked it to how special our crew bear Rainbow is to each and every one of us. Then we thought of some rules on how we should look after Rainbow. We showed democracy by voting for our 5 most important rules that us and our families should follow when looking after Rainbow. Crew Meade are so excited to take Rainbow home and go on lots of adventures. Birthday girl Alicia, was the first to take Rainbow home yesterday. She drew a picture of her and Rainbow playing on the trampoline which they jumped on in her garden together. I wonder what else Rainbow will get up to? #LovePlover
Pyjama Day in F2M
All cosy and snug, with our cuddly toys, blankets and cushions we enjoyed a special story called āDoggerā. The children noticed it looked like an old book. In crew, we shared our teddy bears name and discussed how our favourite cuddly toy makes us feel. We showed kindness like Bella from Dogger, sharing our teddies for a little cuddle with our friends. #LovePlover
Pyjama day in F2 BP
ABC Bears in PE
Today in PE we had so much fun working on our fundamental ABCā¦ agility, balance, coordination.
We moved at different speeds, in different directions, using different movements to work on our agility and coordination. We played games where we had to balance in different ways and keep our bodies under control, squeezing our core (tummy muscles).

Teddy biscuits
This term our expedition in EYFS is āBe kind:How do we show we care?ā We will be raising money to buy teddy bears for the childrenās home.
Children will be able to buy a teddy biscuit for 50p and money raised will go towards buying the bears.
Please return the slip (which will be in your child’s bag today or tomorrow) if you would like your child to buy a biscuit.

Meet F2BP crew bear “Sunshine”
Welcome our crew bearā¦ Sunshine!
In expedition we learnt about the history of how teddy bears are made. We then discussed the instructions on how to make a bear. As a crew we worked together to build a bear. We described how our new bear felt and shared kindness messages for our crew bear. In crew, we showed democracy to vote for the name of our crew bear from the childrenās suggestions. There were lots of names that the children came up with but the winning name was Sunshine.
The children are very excited to look after Sunshine.

Fun Family Learning in F2BP
What an awesome morning we had when our grown-ups came to learn with us. We made bear biscuits, bear collages, bear colouring, bear painting. At the end, we snuggled up on the carpet and enjoyed the story of āThe Everywhere Bearā. I hope the adults enjoyed it as much as the children did. Thanks to all for attending.
