ABC Bears in PE
Today in PE we had so much fun working on our fundamental ABCā¦ agility, balance, coordination.
We moved at different speeds, in different directions, using different movements to work on our agility and coordination. We played games where we had to balance in different ways and keep our bodies under control, squeezing our core (tummy muscles).
Shout outs to Liarna, Larah-Jean, Charlotte, Jacoby and Niarna for being our PE sticker superstars! #LovePlover
Teddy biscuits
This term our expedition in EYFS is āBe kind:How do we show we care?ā We will be raising money to buy teddy bears for the childrenās home.
Children will be able to buy a teddy biscuit for 50p and money raised will go towards buying the bears.
Please return the slip (which will be in your child’s bag today or tomorrow) if you would like your child to buy a biscuit.

Meet F2BP crew bear “Sunshine”
Welcome our crew bearā¦ Sunshine!
In expedition we learnt about the history of how teddy bears are made. We then discussed the instructions on how to make a bear. As a crew we worked together to build a bear. We described how our new bear felt and shared kindness messages for our crew bear. In crew, we showed democracy to vote for the name of our crew bear from the childrenās suggestions. There were lots of names that the children came up with but the winning name was Sunshine.
The children are very excited to look after Sunshine.

Fun Family Learning in F2BP
What an awesome morning we had when our grown-ups came to learn with us. We made bear biscuits, bear collages, bear colouring, bear painting. At the end, we snuggled up on the carpet and enjoyed the story of āThe Everywhere Bearā. I hope the adults enjoyed it as much as the children did. Thanks to all for attending. What a wholesome morning we had in Crew Meade. Mr Meade āBEARlyā had to do anything, as the children and their grown ups did a wonderful job. We made bear biscuits, bear masks, coloured bears and fork bear painting. Ended with a nice cosy snuggle and story! Thank you parents and children once again, you were āGRRRReatā. #LovePlover
EYFS Sponsored Bear Walk
A huge shoutout to all of EYFS that completed their sponsored bear walk on Monday. The children raised have raised a whopping Ā£1148 so far, with some money still being collected. We are so proud of our EYFS crew and are excited to order the bears ready for the community.

One morning there was a bear in F2BP. We wondered where it had been and when it left, where it was going. The children came up with lots of ideas and created posters of how to find the bear. They thought about the bearās feelings, made food for him and wrote him letters. With hope it would visit again and to our amazementā¦ check out the Plover CCTV! #LovePlover
