A different start to the term

Welcome back everyone

Some of you are going to be coming into school and some of you will be learning at home. If you are learning from home then this is the timetable for your learning in F2. It is similar to our learning in school. School will be in touch later today to check that everyone has access to a device and the internet.

F2 online routine

Mrs Renwick and Mrs Ibbertson will be sharing F1 timetable with you later today.

There will be 2 hangouts each day at 9.00 and 2.30. It is important that you join these hangouts to participate in our learning. Your class teacher will send you a meeting request to the email that we have saved on Evidence Me.

Today will be different. We will do a hangout at 1.30 to introduce our learning.

We are looking forward to seeing you on line or in person today.

Merry Christmas 4G

We have had a lovely two weeks in 4G with the build up to Christmas.

A great Christmas jumper day yesterday was followed by Christmas party day today!

We had a quiz, watched our Roman video and played party games.
At the end of the day, we received lovely Christmas bells.

Have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.

KS1 Version of The Snowman

In our English lessons over the last week we have looked at the book The Snowman by Raymond Briggs, as this is a picture book we put our own narrative to it.  We thought you might like to see your children in action!  Please note that if your child is not on the video, this is because they chose not to be videoed.

Enjoy

Merry Christmas Everyone

What a fabulous day we have had in Key Stage 1.  It started with Mrs Ogle, Santa and their helpers on the gate – the children loved this and it was fabulous to see their smiling faces as they came into class.   We then took part in a quiz, watched The Snowman (we have been looking at the picture book in English – a video of this will follow), and then the fun and games began.

Is Mr Pickering singing or in pain? I will let you decide 🙂

I want to say how proud I am of my class.  They have been absolutely brilliant these last few days when the timetable goes a little hectic with Christmas activities.  I would also like to take this opportunity to wish you all a fabulous Christmas.  I look forward to seeing you all in 2021.

Good evening 1M!

If your superstar has come home a little giddy or tired today, here is perhaps why…😅they’ve  been quizzing, craft making, playing, watching a film, eating party food, Christmas partying, pass the parcel, musical bumps, dancing, Christmas corners and had lots and lots of goodies!

To every child and grown up, I would like to wish you are a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year! Here’s to hopefully a bit more normality in 2021 and seeing you all back safe and smiley faced in January! You are all doing amazing, keep going, be kind, stay safe and enjoy.

Finally, I would just like to say a massive thank you to all my superstars for all their hard work and learning since starting back in September! Thank you grown ups for your continued support and communication throughout! I have been well and truly spoilt with all your cards and gifts… but most importantly for having the best and such a special class of children!
