This Christmas we will be raffling off coloured Christmas hampers which would make the perfect Christmas gifts. Each class has been challenged with a colour and the idea is each child will contribute something in that colour to add to the hamper. The class with the most contributions will win a prize. Please see above for your child’s class colour and examples of hamper contribution ideas.

RECYCLED MATERIALS!
Hello KS1!
Please help! We would love some recycled materials for Friday as we need to get crafty for our next expedition! Please bring in plastic bottles, old clothes and tins.
Thanks everyone!
In our We Care Wednesday crew this morning our crew learnt about anti-bullying week and how we can be kind. We spoke about what bullying is, how it may make people feel and why there is NO place for bullying!
Children sorted the picture cards into kind and unkind. They then made a pledge to get 4s in their howls by displaying a severe act of kindness – most children succeeded in this 😁

Crew Meade were delighted and proud to have not just one Yellow T-shirt winner but two in Beau and Charlie – superstars!
It was lovely to hear our crew read to one another this morning. We focused on segmenting and blending really quickly to help with reading fluency.

Children were set a challenge to write as many words as possible which included today’s consonant blend grapheme. They did a outstanding job! #LovePlover
Year 1 March
Let The Children March Plover style. Our children led their own march to stand up for equality and protest against segregation! Linking to our texts during our literacy/expedition (Rosa Parks, Let The Children, Martin Luther King)
The children created some powerful poster and placards – using their phonics knowledge to spell key words!
