We will be learning about butterflies and stories about butterflies, farm animals and stories about farm animals and then after half term we will be learning about dragons – real ones and pretend ones!

This is today’s home learning.Click on the picture to go through the slides for this week’s learning.

What are we learning next?

What are we going to be learning about next in F2?

The title of our next expedition is Is it real? Does it change? We are going to be learning about the differences between real and imaginary things.

We will start our learning with real caterpillars and butterflies and then the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle (pretend).

We have ordered some real caterpillars which will be in school. Mrs Renwick and Mrs Melady are going to look after them for us and take photos as they grow and change.

Happy birthday

Good morning everyone. Happy birthday to Rahand today. We hope you have a lovely day. It would be lovely to see photos of your day.

Today is your final investigation day. Can you think of some other things to investigate?

I have given you clues all week about my new skill. Did you guess what it was? I am learning to play the ukulele. It is a bit like a small guitar but with 4 strings instead of 6. I am practising so that when we are all back at school we can use it for singing time. I am really looking forward to that. Start thinking of songs we can sing together.
