Being a dragon
Wow! What a fantastic dance lesson this morning. Using How to train your dragon music, the children pretending to be the dragon. We used fast and slow, up and down, spin and turn.

Fantastic reading
We have a superstar reader in F2P today. Samuel has persevered in his reading and has moved 3 reading shelves! Saying the sounds confidently had meant that Samuel can read many of the phase 3 graphemes in words. We are so proud of you Samuel, not only for the sounds you know but the effort that you have put into your reading. Well done.

What does a bearded dragon need?
Today we have been finding out what a bearded dragon needs. We have looked at video clips, posters and information. We worked together to create our own ideas for posters. I was very impressed with the collaboration and how children shared ideas.
Well done F2P crew. I know you could look after a bearded dragon and keep it safe and well.

Learning in provision
There has been some excellent learning in provision today.
Several children completed the maths challenge. How can you make a number?
There was a popcorn game in the phonics area. The children had to pull out popcorn (paper balls) and see if they could make a word. Oscar made his own set of graphemes so that he could carry on learning at home. Shay was delighted when he had made a word that made sense! Well done boys for meeting your challenges today.
