Well done to Elizabeth and Evelynn for being awarded ‘The Pride of Plover’ certificate and yellow T shirt this week.
What a fantastic afternoon. We welcomed our visitors from Age UK. We celebrated with tea and cake. The children shared the journey of their learning in the expedition and then sang to our guests. Our guests enjoyed it so much that we sang more songs.
They have invited us to visit them and we are hoping that they will be able to come back to share some stories.

Plover Crew – KS1 would like you to bring in any plastic bottles, plastic lids and plastic bags… as these will be very much needed for our Spring Expedition!
Also, if anyone knows any recycling experts, artivists or scientists who study the ocean (hydrologists), please come forward we would love to arrange an expert visit!
Get emptying those recycling bins 😅 thanks all!

As a caring school, this year we have decided to support 2 worthy causes this Christmas. We are raising funds to support Dunelm’s ‘Deliver Joy this Christmas’ campaign and we are making up Christmas boxes to support the Wellness Center, in Intake with essentials and a Christmas surprise.
Both charities aim to support those in need which include the elderly with no family or a child in need.
If you would like to make a donation of £1 to support these 2 great causes then please pass this to your child’s class teacher by Friday 3rd December.
Thank you for your continued support.
Happy Christmas!

This Christmas we will be raffling off coloured Christmas hampers which would make the perfect Christmas gifts. Each class has been challenged with a colour and the idea is each child will contribute something in that colour to add to the hamper. The class with the most contributions will win a prize. Please see above for your child’s class colour and examples of hamper contribution ideas.

Next term EYFS are going to be Early Years Engineers. They are considering in a world of possibilities what they will make. We would like people to come and talk to the children about their jobs especially relating to creating and building – artists, joiners, builders (and related trades). If you can help or know someone who can, please let us know.
We would also like to learn how to build dens and tents that we can fit inside of, if anyone can help with this too.

In our story, the little girl meets a wizard, a pirate who has a parrot, a princess, a knight and a pilot. We have enjoyed making pirate hats and princess crowns. We have used the dressing up equipment to enhance our role play. We even built an aeroplane outside and used the boat as a pirate ship.
This week, Flynn and Peyton have been awarded the yellow t-shirt for their hard work and kindness in the setting.
Well done to Jaxon for his amazing cutting and sticking when making a pirate eye patch.
Well done to Almina being kind for sharing puppets with ther friends.
