We are really fortunate to have been asked to take part in the very first ‘DIP DAP’ awards – the Doncaster Illustrator Prize and the Doncaster Author Prize.
Yesterday we received a beautiful box of brand new books, which our Year 5 book lovers have been excited to choose from.
Each week, in Time to Read Tuesday Crew, we will discuss the books from the long list that we have been reading and we will score the book for the illustrations and the story writing.
By Christmas, we will have to decide our top books, that will hopefully be added onto the shortlist.
In the New Year, we will hopefully be invited to the finals, where we will discover which books take the prize!
