I hope you and your families are keeping well during this worrying time. I’m sure you will be aware of the speech made by Boris Johnson last night and I’m sure it will have left you with a lot of questions.
As it was stated yesterday, schools may begin a phased return on 1st June for FS2, Year 1 and Year 6. I have had a meeting with fellow Head Teachers and the Executive Team of the XP Trust this afternoon and until further guidance and clarification is given, we do not feel we can make any firm future plans and will therefore carry on operating as we are doing at the minute. The school will therefore continue to only be open to key worker children, vulnerable children or those with an EHCP.
I would like to assure you that any future plans made with regards to the opening of the school to some year groups will have safety for all at the forefront of our minds.
