A busy day particularly for the children in school. They have created some lovely dragon pictures using shapes. These are some of the examples.
Well done everyone.

A busy day particularly for the children in school. They have created some lovely dragon pictures using shapes. These are some of the examples.
Well done everyone.
Harry and I had a lovely little hangout today, just the two of us (and Lily-Grace of course). I have arranged another hangout for Thursday morning at 10am. Check your children’s emails and your own too. See you all soon!
This is your home learning for today. Write a list of the things that Zog learnt. Make a dragon out of 2D shapes. Use different objects to make dragon sounds.
I have set up a Google hangout for Tuesday at 10am. This will be new for me as well as most of you so we’ll see how it goes and learn together.
Each child has access to Google hangouts. To enable us to do this you will need to load the school website ploverschool.co.uk.
Then log in to the website.
Your username is the first initial of your child’s name followed by your surname eg Joanne Blog would be jblog
The initial password is pa55word. You will then change to a password you will remember. You will then be able to access your child’s emails.
When we have set up a Hangout
Go to your email (when you log in to the school website with your username and password the email icon is at the top)
Accept the email invitation.
Before the meeting starts, open your emails again repeating step 1.
Find 9 dots near to the top right hand corner of the screen.
Click these dots and open calendar.
Click the event . This will open a separate tab and you need to click join with Google Meet. You will then be taken to the meeting.
You can also use the APP if this is easier.
I hope to see you there. If you struggle don’t worry we will be doing this every week and I will see you all shortly with your new work packs.
Thank you for all your photos today. I have seen some lovely Zog writing from the children in school. Lots of you have made dragon wings. Khongkwan has made a dragon inspired by Zog and she put the wings onto the dragon too.
This is Isabelle’s celebration of pirate week. She really enjoyed learning about pirates and making things.
As we continue to teach a lot of our children online through either ‘Evidence Me’ or ‘Google Classroom’ we would like to extend our contact further by a weekly ‘Google Classroom Hangout’.
Every teacher will host a weekly class catch-up as per the details in the table below.
Please encourage your child to join this as regular contact with their friends and class teacher will help them continue to feel a part of their school community. This will also support with the the safeguarding monitoring we are required to do during this time.

For children not in school, don’t forget the class Hangouts.
F2P hangout is today at 10 o’clock.
A shout out today for Mia. Mia read the whole book, sounding out some difficult words and added in expression when she came across an exclamation mark. Well done Mia.
