One of the activities we did today was drawing fireworks. We looked at the shapes that fireworks made. We were learning to get better at using our fine motor skills to create different shapes. We learnt the words zigzag, swirly, spotty and spirally.

Our yellow t-shirt winner today was Emorie. She works really hard and tries to extend her learning from large group into provision. She is also kind and helpful. Well done Emorie. You are a superstar.

Our literacy focus this week has been on writing labels to help us tell the story.
Some of the children wrote words in their own and could describe the different places they went.

From Thursday 10th November until Wednesday 16th November, Travelling Book Fairs will be at Plover School! This is a superb opportunity to check out lots of the latest books, as well as a chance to buy some of the ever popular stationery items! Today we explored pumpkins. We used our senses to talk about how they look, feel and smell, as well as doing some printing with them.
