4F PE
4F enjoyed a tag rugby session on Wednesday morning. We grappled on how to hold the rugby ball best, ensuring we had firm possession of the ball. We also practiced running with the ball, as well as touching down to score a try.
Great rugby skills in 4GR
Year 4 worked on their rugby skills in PE today with a coach from the Dons team.
Well done to Atlas for having the best celebration after scoring a try.
F2 PE – jumping bears
Today Mrs Bubb and Mr Meade developed our fundamental movements. We showed how we can jump in different ways and played lots of fun animal games. We jumped like kangaroos and bounced like bunnies. #LovePlover
Crew Meade Party Time
What a fantastic way to end our first week in ābig schoolā – we had a crew party with our new friends. We gave cards to our friends, played musical bumps, pass the parcel (well done Abbie for winning) then finished with cake and juice. #LovePlover
F2ās first PE session
Mr Meade and Mrs Bubb had a great PE session today. We used our heads, hands and hearts. We used our hand to move in different ways. We used our heads to think of different movements and our heart to be kind when playing with our friends. our superstars today were River for explaining the rules so everyone knew how to play and Abbie for being kind and making sure she looked out for people who needed setting free in our ā bear stuck in the mudā game.
Marvellous Maths in F2M
The children have blown me away with their counting and subitising skills this morning in maths. We did an active starter, followed by counting how many friends we have in our crew today. Then played the subitise game to quickly say how many cubes or dots Mr Meade showed.
Shout out to Koby and Leo work working hard on their count. #LovePlover
